November is American Diabetes Month. One in eleven Americans has diabetes. Diabetes disproportionately affects older adults. Approximately 25% of Americans over the age of 60 years have diabetes. Sadly, many people do not even realize that they have the disease.

It is best to choose a one that you will enjoy and stay healthy at the same time.
Diabetes is an illness that insurance companies, in most cases, will charge a higher premium. If the condition is not under control or there are other serious ailments involved, then insurance may not be offered at all( Other than medical insurance). If you are on the pill the rate is usually lower than if you are on insulin. The good news is that diabetics can still get insurance.
